Procrastination is a talent– one that I have acquired throughout the 15 years of my life spent in a heavily scheduled school environment. Down to the second, I have perfectly mastered the art of time management, or as my parents say, “putting things off to the last minute.”
This year at Wellesley, I discovered a new way to apply my knowledge.
The very first week of class, I used Google Maps to plan my route, but in doing this, I got a realistic time frame on how long I would have between when I left my dorm to when I arrived at my classroom.
All it took was simple math and elementary calculations, and my procrastination skills jumped into action.
Following this event, I began routinely leaving at the exact minute needed to get to my classes 2 minutes early, reviewing Google Maps as I went.
With this ability, I will never have to worry about leaving too early or too late; instead, I’ll be there just in time.
I like how you personalized this post so that your readers can share in your perspective. It inspires them to believe that they could also procrastinate!
I love how you took this approach to writing this subject.
